Company Information
The Safe Center was created through the merger of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect. A private not-for-profit, it is the only agency in Nassau County providing comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence, rape/sexual assault, and child abuse. Built on each agency’s over three decades of leadership in the community in responding to victims’ needs, TSCLI’s repertoire of services and expertise in working with adult, elder and child victims of abuse is breaking new ground in victims services. Its mission is “To protect, assist and empower victims of family violence and sexual assault while challenging and changing social systems that tolerate and perpetuate abuse.”
