AIDS Services serves anyone living with HIV/AIDS in Santa Clara County by assuring access to all services needed to promote health, dignity and quality of life, thereby preventing the spread of HIV.
Our Goals
Promote client well being and independence through a strong therapeutic relationship which involves the client in the care-planning process and in all decision making.
Assure the availability of needed services by developing and maintaining relationships with other community organizations, physicians and medical clinics.
Assure adequate funding by fully meeting grant or funder requirements and maintaining an open relationship with the Planning Council.
Assure staff clinical expertise and well being through training, education, emotional support and flexible schedules.
Prevent the spread of HIV through comprehensive case management with an emphasis on harm reduction for clients and the general community.
Promote the use of case management and other funded services by identifying individuals and families in need. Build awareness of the program through promotions in ethnic, minority and outlying communities
