Description
Provide counseling sessions as mandated by all applicable regulations including but not limited to Federal, State, Local and Accreditation bodies. Maintain all required documentations in the case record, including but not limited to intake assessments, treatment plans, psycho-socials and progress notes. Participates in inter-disciplinary team conferences and meetings; Conduct Individual and Group Sessions; Links clients with all necessary medical and mental health providers as well as social service agencies and performs other duties as assigned from time to time.

Skills
BA in Human Services plus two years equivalent experience or Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) preferred. High School Diploma/GED, plus at least 3 years directly related experience and CASAC-T required. Understands substance abuse and/or Methadone treatment and basic counseling skills. Has the ability to work as part of a complex team. Must be multi-cultural sensitive to the needs of the clients treatment; Computer competent.
