Among your specific responsibilities, you will be an registered nurse in NY State: *Develop, review, evaluate and update mobile field department policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
*Ensure that services are provided to consumers as they are authorized by the state agency and great medical personnel skills; field visits required.
*Ensure prompt submission of all field department reports
*Prepare internal reports of field department activity and submit them to the higher management .
*Ensure that intake and discharge activity are in compliance with regulations and efficient operations.
*Provide supervision, training and evaluation for the field department.
*Promote productive working relationships within the department by: meeting and consulting supervisors and staff regarding the condition of the mental health consumers.
* Interact with consumers' family members, social workers, and other parties involved and concerned with consumers’ staff and family health directly and through correspondence concerning service related issues.
*Plan and host client advisory meetings.
*Plan, implement and evaluate in-service training for staff if needed..
**Represent our agency in a professional and positive manner to government agencies, vendors, consumers and family members.
*Participate on committees within our agency and other industry organizations, as needed.
