The Director of Resident and Family Services will play an important role by assisting residents and families understand and cope with the psycho-social issues related to aging and dementia while optimizing their quality of life.
The Director of Resident and Family Services responsibilities include: - Participates in admission and discharge planning for residents, performing an initial written evaluation of resident after admission and completes follow up evaluations thereafter. - Actively involved in the resident care plan team and promotes harmonious working relations within the community. - Conducts community tours from time-to-time for prospective residents and community groups. - Actively promotes and raises awareness of the facility and company principles to civic, community, and Alzheimer’s related groups within the community.
