Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements (if applicable): Position requires high school diploma(or equivalent) and a valid CDL license with passenger endorsement. Must also be able and licensed to drive trucks with stick shift and airbrakes. Position also requires drivers to successfully complete drug testing and physical examination requirements.
Job Description: Transport adults with developmental disabilities to and from the facility in accordance with pre-arranged schedules. Also delivers and picks up subcontract work or other materials as required. Prepares necessary paperwork including vehicle inspection sheets, transportation logs, shipping papers/receipts. Inspects vehicles. Drives electric powered industrial forklift trucks equipped with forklift to stack and move products in warehouse storage or production floor. Reports to Production Superintendent.
