MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Doctorate in medicine with Board eligibility in Adult and Child Psychiatry. 2 years psychiatric experience including working with children and/or adolescents.
Other Specific Requirements
Current Physicians and Surgeons licensure in California.
Adult and Child Psychiatric Fellowships.
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Medical Director in the development and maintenance of quality psychotherapeutic programs; assists Medical Director in developing policies and procedures for use of psychiatric medications in his/her division; provides case related and systems oriented consultation at various levels within the organization; provides clinical evaluations and treatment as needed; participates in staff training and assists in the development of psychiatric training opportunities; assists in the recruitment of psychiatric personnel; less peer review and other duties as determined by the Medical Director.
