The Program Manager (Site Administrator) oversees the operations of the Non-Residential Program in accordance with NCSH goals and objectives, including but not limited to, ensuring program activities comply with contracts, supervising staff, budgeting and fiscal management, policy development and implementation, and delivery of services that will contribute to the agency’s overall success. Employment is subject to availability of grant funding. This is a full-time, exempt level position.
• Bachelors’ Degree in counseling, social work or closely related field preferred.
• Must be recognized by the State of California, Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, as a licensed or certified treatment counselor.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a drug-counseling setting with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible staff supervision experience.
•Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire and influence others within the organization.
•Knowledge of County and State program contract guidelines, including the rules and regulations affecting clients served.
•Ability to manage work in an environment that can be interrupted regularly.
•Must have excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills.
•Must be CPR/First Aid certified or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
