Under the guidance and supervision of the Executive Director, the Clinical Services Director is responsible for the oversight, implementation and effective management of all clinical services. As a member of the executive team, the Director of Clinical Services ensures quality service delivery within a system of care that is client focused and mission driven; leads and engages staff in improving system outcomes; improves visibility and responsiveness to the needs of Community Family Guidance Center’s (CFGC) communities.
Management and Administration: Create a framework to ensure that individual and group clinical performance and clinical supervisory practice is evaluated on a regular basis and outcomes are measured and reported. Ensure delivery of high quality and ethical clinical service. Initiate, implement, and monitor activities to accurately assess mental health expenditures, maximize contractual obligations, advance quality, and improve services to clients and productivity expectations. Serve as a backup in the absence of the Executive Director; support the activities of the Executive Director and the agency.
Clinical Development: Lead clinical team to implement clinical philosophy and practice. Develop and maintain training and clinical development initiatives in alignment with agency strategic goals that addresses the application and clinical process needs as well as evidence based outcomes.
Programs: In partnership with the Executive Director, participate in the development and implementation of short and long-term plans for program growth, enhancement, and evaluation; and oversee clinical compliance of all programs. Increase the visibility of all CFGC programs in the community by building strong partnerships with community organizations that complement CFGC services and serve current and prospective clients. Monitor community needs/opportunities and make recommendations for appropriate services.
Strategic Planning: Proactively establish appropriate policies, controls, and separation of duties to ensure sound clinical practices, improve clinical quality, and ensure safeguards for clinical quality. Develop clinical leadership within the agency. Develop and monitors strategies which align best practices and deliverable outcomes.
Accounting and Finance: Assist in the development of annual operating budgets. Secure new funding streams through the integration of behavioral and physical health.
