Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is a not-for-profit charity serving children, families and developmentally disabled adults across New York City and Long Island. Our staff provides caring and professional services to nearly 2,000 people annually. Little Flower’s programs are populated through contractual relationships with referring agencies including state and local government, courts and school districts.

Little Flower Children and Family Services is seeking Child Care Worker’s for our Residential Treatment Center (RTC) LOCATED AT OUR WADING RIVER, NY CAMPUS. Various part-time and full-time shifts available. A valid New York State driver’s license is required. College degree required. Spanish speaking preferred.

Job Responsibilities include:
Supervise the activities of the children residing in the cottage and ensure that rules and procedures are followed; Organize, supervise and participate in recreational and other group activities, homework, etc.; Instruct children on personal hygiene; Supervise and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the cottage; May be expected to prepare and supervise meals and assist in the housekeeping of the residence (depending on the shift assignment); Enter information concerning activity of residents, during shift, into the Cottage log; Prepare incident reports, as required.
