Description
Preservation Management, Inc. is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) to work at a multi-family property in Glens Falls, NY serving low income families. The RSC provides social service resource information and support to residents and oversees resident services programs at the property. S/he assists residents in assessing needs and obtaining services and assistance with the goal of promoting successful tenancies and assisting residents to achieve and maintain maximum independence and self-sufficiency. Specific duties include:

- Interview residents, assist them in identifying services needed to resolve problems and achieve personal goals, and link residents with public and private resources in the community to provide needed assistance.

- Develop and oversee on-site programs and activities based on the needs and interests of residents.

- Maintain records and provide data and information to document results and comply with reporting requirements.

Skills
Requirements:

A four-year college degree with a major in social services and at least two years’ experience in a related field required. Desirable candidates are familiar with state, federal, and local resources available to provide financial assistance and social services for low income families, and have the ability to provide effective leadership for program development activities. Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment is essential.

Notes
