Fedcap’s Youth & Young Adult Services program provides services to youth, 14 to 24 years of age, with and without disabilities, in and out of school and targets those in need of transitional assistance, career guidance, and skill development leading to the world of work and independence.
                        

Job Description
The Project Coordinator will establish the framework of positive youth development and restorative justice for the Arches Program, ensuring that the program provides mentors that will serve as positive adult role models, healthy peer networks, and strong community connections for all participants so that they attain educational and employment goals and avoid recidivism. The Project Coordinator is Responsible for meeting and exceeding all contractual program goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Rapid and timely response to participant referrals from DOP;
-Develop strategic partnerships to ensure all recruitment of mentors.
-Conduct outreach to organizations Fedcap has linkages with.   
-Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and lead team meetings.
-Ensure that mentors are culturally sensitive
-Assure mentors are available to provide support, advice, and guidance to program participants
-Ensure contract deliverables are met, individualized plans are in place for all participants, and case notes/files meet funder and internal quality standards.
-Provide guidance to the mentors who are working with the Aches program participants.
-Establish partnerships with community organizations; reach out to social service providers to continue to expand our pool of linked providers.
-Monitor data entry by program staff to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
-Prepare program reports for internal management/quality assurance and reports to funder.
-Develop quantitative and qualitative metrics on program performance that include attendance, participant contact hours, services delivered, participant outcomes, etc.
-Monitor program expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budget.
-Represent Fedcap at partner and funder meetings.
-Monitoring of data/outcome analysis (in concert with program data analyst);
-Communication with DOP case managers and participation in Arches network meetings as required;
-Facilitation of team meetings

Skills
-Master’s degree in related field
-5+ years of experience in program management; staff supervision; & project/fiscal planning
-3+ years of experience in the last 5 years working w/ court-involved youth/young adults; experience working w/ youth development principles
-Experience in developing partner collaborations & working w/ community groups
-Strong analytical & problem solving skills
-Excellent presentation, writing & communication skills.
-Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
