This is an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Clinical Director in the mental health field. Position is responsible for developing and designing a team of devoted, caring professionals that are building brighter futures for children and families.
Coordinates and facilitates the case management process. Provides leadership to the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Directs the therapeutic milieu and ensures health, safety, security and most effective treatment of clients, including the management and allocation of staff and other resources. Supervises, directs, guides and consults with all unit staff in the provision of treatment services. Oversees the multi-disciplinary treatment process and arbitrates disputes when the treatment team cannot reach consensus. Assesses staff development and training needs and participates in the development, coordination and presentation of staff training and development activities. Responsible for monitoring QA activities and maintaining accreditation standards in the units. Serves as a critical two-way communication link between Trillium Family Services management and treatment and direct care staff. Position may require evening, weekend and shift work and requires availability to respond to emergencies. Job is demanding with frequent deadlines, meetings and interruptions.
Qualifications Required:
Requires relevant clinical degree +5 yrs relevant clinical and supervisory experience, as well as experience with acutely mentally ill clients. License preferred. Preference given to candidates with experience in Hospital inpatient programs, knowledge of juvenile justice system.
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or closely related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Preference will be given to candidates who have or will qualify for a license to practice social work or counseling in the state of Oregon. Maintain a driving record acceptable by the agency and a current drivers license for state of residence, when authorized to use own vehicle for agency business, employee must maintain personal insurance.
